damn i wish i had a pet chameleon

every year i rewatch this movie and note that i still love it. i mean, it has everything:
✓ neon colour grading
✓ cool music from the 80s
✓ sapphics making out under neon lights to cool music from the 80s
✓ charlize theron eliminating 5 men with a water hose
✓ charlize theron fighting men in a 9-minute-long one shot
✓ unhinged james mcavoy

Anya Taylor-Joy looking beautiful, being chaotic, and crushing men all around the world is right up my alley

but seriously, this is such a bingeable miniseries. hits the right notes for suspense, and even emotionally by the end as you get to know the main character – through a wonderful performance from Anya. the set and costume designs are beautiful, and I will probably listen to the score later again. Netflix’s miniseries game is definitely strong this October!

okay so... i think we can all agree that the obvious next step is making a sequel with Aubrey Plaza as the protagonist, right?
