I had enough credits to minor in film but you can't add a minor when you're already graduating with a double major in english and music.
Very clearly they just took a ringer podcast about Woodstock 99 then added a few extra commentators. Because they talk to so few of the critical performers though it's little more than just documenting the chronological trainwreck. I really wish they had just spent more time with the artists who were there and just not gotten the Ringer alumni to tell you every 45 seconds how you should feel about what you're watching. That said, the footage is truly jaw dropping in that morbid car-crash way.
Okay as an official "discourse film" I feel the need to elaborate, not just because it's of the moment but because I do feel like this movie is kind of a benchmark for where we are headed when it comes to popular culture.
I was not going to watch this but we're doing a thing where each of us picks 5 movies and we take turns picking films from each others list.
See if you can guess who's is who's…
