    During Mattie Do's Q&A for this impossibly sophisticated genre-bending fable, she started crying, and then the moderator started crying, and then the producer had to step up to the mic and try to restore a comfortable order, though only through her own tears. It was an alarming experience that was entirely justified by the impact of the movie. I had to go sit in the dark after.
