Evan “Kaizō Haya-shill” Pincus’s review published on Letterboxd:
Nothing special, but a watchable post-Tarantino crime flick with even the barest shred of Cox flair is still fun- and yes, despite the fact that he Smithee'd this, his style is still there. There are spaghetti western references, cool shootouts, and the whole hangout vibe. Is it great? Nah- I find myself pretty much uninterested in this guy's attempts at joining the mainstream, however unsuccessful they may be, but there are so many worse ways to spend 90 minutes.
