This fucking movie. To take something so precious and pure in every sense of the horror word and 1) take out one of the greatest killers in history and 2) tack an agenda on it that smothers the viewer to death. Just. Wow.
Also, the horror genre, more than any other genre, breeds strong women. So what message are you sending that hasn't already been spread hundreds of times before.
Thank you for pretty much putting the nail in the coffin of a beloved property that will never see another remake or sequel again. Job well done.
