    I can appreciate the performance of Larson, although if I knew nothing going in about the accolades, I'm not sure I would have thought it was anything too special. The performance of Tremblay I felt was more impressive (no one else was memorable, don't know why Macy was even in this.)

    My first experience with Hellraiser including any sequels, not sure why I held out on this one so long. The fact that it’s an 80’s horror and not a slasher is a nice change of pace for that decade and the ones I’ve seen.     I don't recall seeing a horror movie that tells us exactly how many people are going to have to die in the film, meaning not specific people but a specific number, and it doesn't seem to matter who. As if the fog figures are keeping a running tally in their algae mush brains.
    Once we realize that a good portion of those deaths have already taken place early on, it kind of takes some of the suspense away from there.…
