the first movie watched of the year is so important. it sets the tone for the rest of the year, in and out of just movies. it's a look into what that year might hold for us in all aspects of life. i doubt i could have watched a better movie for #1 for 2021.

i guess i have no heart as this overly sappy pedestrianly animated film did nothing for me. after 10 minutes i started flipping through books and surfing the web, and still cringed when i would catch a few words of dialogue.
