Most movie ratings on Letterboxd follow a basic bell curve. Some movies because of fervent fans or ironic ratings fall outside this bell curve.
A lot of movies that look snaggle-toothed can be "smoothed" by removing .5 ratings as a lot of Letterboxd users only rate movies whole stars(these have been removed).
