Taylor Baker’s review published on Letterboxd:
The most delightful of comfort foods. It's bigger ideas are over shadowed by it's beauty and carefully crafted visuals. It's hard to say how the performances were, given that the majority of scenes excluding Mendelsohn were CG. It is notable and impressive that the film followed the basic plot structure of the Poem of which it's hero's avatar is named; Parzival by the Poet Wolfram von Eschenbach. I am curious if the IOI numbering and single lettering of it's employee's was influenced and correlated with Ayn Rand's book Anthem. In which the individuals are made to collective slaves lacking individuality until finding a light. But in a film of references this is bound to happen. It had Giant Robots and dope laser guns. Watch it on the biggest 3D screen you can find.
