Villenueve's space opera is a gigantic spectacle conceived in coherent vision to emphasize Dune from its source material as pristine as it could be. The myriad of details are driven with many acute exposition offering a lot of byzantine references and political landscape wrapped through understated colonialism imagery without falling to some inclusivity. Dune's vision doesn't only unlock the story that deemed too hard to be filmed, it sets solid foundation at higher level.
