Eduardo Oliveira’s review published on Letterboxd:
Malick’s work is, as usual, transcendental, engaging and immersive. His frequent stylistic choices are, to me, a reaffirmation of cinema as an artistic medium. For a movie that tackles in so many ideas concerning religion, Emerson’s Nature was very highlighted, through the way it shows a concept of God is in the small things. This deep and heartfelt film, with the help of Lubezki’s gaze, depicts the universal beauty that goes unnoticed in our everyday lives, be it in human connection, in the causality of events or even in a nice view. It’s up to each individual to keep a keen eye for such hidden beauty.
