With a running time of approx. 160 minutes, the latest James Bond movie just might be a tad bit too long for some. With that said, I wasn't bored for even a minute.

No Time to Die is well directed, well shot and well acted all across the cast. The script, with its motives for the villains and their plans, is nothing out of the ordinary really when considering Bond villainy. But the stakes are high and do feel personal…

“Even though I’m no better than a beast, don’t I have the right to live?”

I've seen Oldboy a few times in my life.

My first viewing was when I was about twelve-thirteen years old - I felt nauseated when the movie ended. Oldboy hit me hard - in my guts and heart. Despite the nausea, I thought it was a masterpiece.

Since then I've watched it a few more times. Most recently, as part of a South Korean Cinema…

    Bad set and setting.
    Bad set and setting indeed.

Climax is a cinematic feat like I've never experienced before. It really is one of a kind - as beautiful as it is disturbing (OK, maybe a tiny bit more of the latter.)
Gaspar Noé is a mad, mad genius, and this visually mesmerizing, emotionally draining cinepsychedelic-vision-come-to-life makes me appreciate life a tad bit more - because the world of films encompasses his unique voice.
