How have I never seen this before it’s so good?!?!?!

Amazing performances, the hair/makeup/costumes are quietly stunning, and the longer runtime feels well earned with compelling stories that never feel stagnant. I’ll be interested to see how this does on a rewatch now that I know all the plot twists, but I have a feeling this is a new favorite.

I would pay top dollar to see these costumes and the set in technicolor. 

Dipping my toe into silent films and this one was pretty interesting! Had my own Jhene Aiko music on in the background and it tbh worked. 💫

Props to Oscar Isaac for embodying some of my least favorite qualities in a man and still getting me to fantasize about slamming him.

After a year of anticipating this release I ended up watching Shiva Baby on my phone, hungover, via a Twitter link from Music Box Theater in bed on a Saturday morning and it was perfect. Do yourself a favor and follow Rachel Sennot on all the social media.
