Promising Young Woman

Promising Young Woman ★★★★

The title character dropped out of med school and has chosen as her life's work a campaign to teach brutal lessons to men who take advantage of drunk women. She has justice in mind for a few specific individuals, too.

Some might say that her tactics go too far. If this were a true story I'd probably have some qualms. But as fiction, I can just enjoy it, like watching someone else drive a car recklessly while I sit safely elsewhere. ("Haha, boy, that took some guts! Not sure *I* would have done that! Haha!")

Are there ethical issues to think about here? Yep! But I prefer to let the main character think about them (or ignore them) while I enjoy her actions vicariously. Retweets are not necessarily endorsements.
