Esther Rosenfield’s review published on Letterboxd:
did not finish. but i think i got the gist. bunch of mid-50s studio fucks used an algorithm to pull together the top 500 terms from popular lib twitter accounts and then did find-replace on proper nouns in the Superbad screenplay. a film for a generation somehow made out of touch with themselves by being forcibly addicted to the cynical rebranding of any original or notable aspect of their culture. also, just profoundly unfunny. lead actresses seem like they're having fun. i'm happy for them.
