Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming ★★★★

A good Spider-man movie but far from the best!

After the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker continues simultaneously stopping crime as Spiderman and trying to balance his life as a high school student. However, problems arise when he has to stop Vulture from selling dangerous weapons that are created from Chitauri technology.

This was an enjoyable MCU movie to watch. I like how this is a movie that has a more small story and that the conflict is not Avengers level threatening. Tom Holland was a perfect choice as Peter Parker as he has a young appearance. The problem and Maguire and Garfield movies had was that they both looked like they were over 20 years old. Michael Keaton gave off such an outstanding performance as Vulture. This Spiderman adaptation worked so well as there were many things in the previous films that were avoided in this one. As a result, this felt more new and fresh. I also liked the shocking revelation where Peter finds out his high school crush is the daughter of Toomes (Vulture). The problem I have is Vulture’s plan as it requires him to steal Avengers equipment that could easily be traced back by Iron Man.

I had a fun time watching this movie and would give this film 7.5/10.
