    MY 3,000TH FILM

    I figured there would be no better candidate for film #3,000 than a film about film that was lightly embarrassing for me to have not seen by now. Close Up is every bit as arresting and affecting as its reputation claims. A lot of Kiarostami's strengths really come to fruition here.
