Denis Villenueva can do no wrong. Dune, based on Frank Herbert's books, is a fascinating epic if you let yourself get immersed into the world. I was worried that certain aspects of the book would translate horribly on the big screen but they made it work even better than the book in my opinion. This project is so grand in scale. It’s a faithful adaptation of source material and does it justice.

I went into this movie completely blind so I didn't know what to expect. It surely wasn't this. It was so weird, but in a good way. It took some time to get used to and I appreciate that. The story was a bit predictable and some character decisions made absolutely no sense to me, but the bizarre ride was still enjoyable.
