• Dune

Visually impressive and a good remake. it's are rare cases where a remake is much better than the original. Time was spent building up without any intermittent action, this gave room for a better understanding of the whole plot. Overall the film is much more entertaining if compare to the original version.

  • Dune

Somehow this film feels boring to watch. I do love the idea, the plot but something about the film make me feel hard to watch.

  • The Karate Kid

    The Karate Kid

Rewatch again this film after 11 years make me rethink again on my rating about this film. I like it so much when the first time I watch it, but now I felt the film have so many problems. Decent Remake but has too many issues, from the title until the plot. Still, a watchable film but still the original is the best.

  • The Searchers

    The Searchers

This is an example of a film where most people love it so much but for me, it's just a watchable film. The Searchers maybe have the best cinematography beyond its time until the film stand out from most others but as a whole film, The Searchers for me just like any other film. Good yes but not a masterpiece in terms of plot.

I do amaze by the beautiful cinematography but that is not the reason for me to say this film is a masterpiece. A must watch movie? YES but a masterpiece, NO.

  • The Transformers: The Movie

    The Transformers: The Movie

A good film but also a worse decision made for the original TV series. Taken place after season 2 of the original TV series, this film clearly made just to sell more toys by introducing new characters.

I loved this movie as a kid, but watching it now I think the feeling is in the middle between love and hate. Love it because the plot is so much fun with no room to feel boring. Good old-fashioned cheesy '80s fun…

  • Transformers: Scramble City

    Transformers: Scramble City

Taken place after 2nd Season of the TV Series, and prequel to the movie, the only good about this is the introduction of Metroplex, Trypticon, Ultra Magnus, the Arielbots, Protectobots, Stuntacons, and Combaticons. Overall the plot itself is good, however, it ends in a cliff hanger.

  • World Without End

    World Without End

This film has the potential to be a great film. Unfortunately, the way the film was presented failed miserably. A wasted opportunity.

  • The Wrong Man

    The Wrong Man

This film is proof that Hitchcock is a genius. He is always the right director for suspense. Although I feel this movie is good as other Hitchcock films, rarely has this movie been talked about by the audience.

The plot for me is pretty easy to digest by the audience. Starting from the usual drama the film manages to be something extraordinary. It’s a must-watch for Hitchcock fans.

  • Day the World Ended

    Day the World Ended

The film is not bad actually. The plot a fairly good but this film is full of dumb characters. I do not care about any characters in this film. Not even one characters make me feel the post-apocalypse at all. The design for the monster is surprisingly good and scary, but other than that feel boring to watch even just for 79 min of the movie. Skip it, forget about it even this is among the first post-apocalypse movies in history

  • Godzilla, King of the Monsters!

    Godzilla, King of the Monsters!

Japanese Version is far superior to this! I do not understand why this version exists. Still can be enjoyed as a movie but once you watch the original version this film looks like a stupid way to americanize a Japanese masterpiece. This film should be forgotten by all moviegoers in the world. It's a painful way to watch the King of the Monsters!

  • Indestructible Man

    Indestructible Man

Sci-fi of 50's always have a scecial place in my heart. From the weird title to among the best ever made in history, 50's always be the era where anything can happen in sci-fi film. This is one of many bizarre title that not great at all. The idea is okay but the main problem are duration of this movie too short. 1h 12min not enough to set a good plot. Everything is under development. Just watch it for fun....

  • Forbidden Planet

    Forbidden Planet

No doubt this film is among the best sci-fi of 50's and perhaps all time. The achievment in this film are groundbreaking. I love the idea, the plot, the special effect, almost all aspect of this film. The only problem maybe the acting and some design which look outdated now. Other than that this film a close to perfect.
