Jeff!’s review published on Letterboxd:
Minari is something special, I need more time to take in what i’ve just watched because it’s one of the most personal, beautiful and painstakingly emotional films i’ve ever seen. In the first 10 minutes, my eyes were watering and throughout the runtime I was always prepared to begin crying again, even when I didn’t know why I was crying. There’s this special magic and subtlety within the film, it’s comforting yet absolutely crushing all at the same time. I absolutely adore this film.
What I can say right now is Steven Yeun, Alan Kim, Han Ye-ri & Lee Isaac Chung all deserve oscar nominations for these career defining performances/directing.
