Felipe Ríos’s review published on Letterboxd:
Dark waters is in my opinion a very complete drama/legal thriller. There are some things in it that are predictable and it still falls in common places from the dramas about lawyers; things like the absent father, the wife that is a good mom and all that she wants is her husband to spend more time with the family, etc.
I really liked this film because it is very human and the development to the plot feels fluid and it doesn’t mean to make you shock all the time. It has a great development to the discussion between people vs companies and how these companies are not our friends. Of course at the end you will feel shock and disappointed about the world or capitalism or whatever.
The film takes its time and it’s not boring. The cinematography is great and Mark Ruffalo’s performance is really good.
