    i'm really mad at this because i wanted to love it and i did, for some of its run time: amazing directing and cinematography, a jarring depiction of low life in Rome (and, to an extent, in Italy as a whole) and great campy moments (@ luca marinelli singing anna oxa)

    but i just can't anymore with directors and/or writers asking me to sympathize with rapists and abusers. i can't anymore with villains being ""subtly"" queer-coded…
