King Richard, Spencer, and the newly anointed TIFF People’s Choice winner Belfast are just some of the films you’ll be able to see at the 30th Anniversary of the Heartland International Film Festival, which has announced its full slate.
This year’s festival will feature 143 films, including 10 World Premieres and 9 U.S. Premieres, running in Indianapolis, Indiana from October 7—17, 2021. All film selections will have in-person screenings, and many will also be able to screen virtually.
To celebrate the festival’s 30th anniversary, this year’s theme will be “Rewinding 30 Years of Heartland Film”, where attendees can expect retro goodies, including VHS tapes. There will also be several retrospective screenings, including a 35mm showing of 1961’s West Side Story, which played at the festival’s inaugural 1992 event.
The full lineup, along with festival passes, and all ticket information details can be found at the Heartland Film Festival’s website.
