The lineup for the 48th annual (except for last year, because Covid) Telluride Film Festival has dropped, and it’s a typical mountain mix of awards season buzz, previous festival highlights, fall previews and starry tributes.

Barry Jenkins is the guest director, bringing a lineup of selections including Med Hondo’s epic 1979 Caribbean musical, West Indies. Tributes this year will be made to New Zealand writer-director Jane Campion (The Power of the Dog), and actors Riz Ahmed (Encounter, attending from the UK via video) and Peter Dinklage (Cyrano).
