So I ran out of John Ford films I had access to, it had to happen some time.
I've seen more Ford features than any other director including almost all of his talkies except for The Brat, his second Korea doc and his Vietnam one (I'm also missing some of his shorts as well as his second half hour for Screen Directors Playhouse). Ford has his ocassional minor films (it would be impossible not to given how prolific he was) but I don't know anyone who has directed as many great ones. The first 58 films on this list are at least very good (and 17 after that all solid) and only the final four are not worth to bother beyond the more hardcore completists.
I try to avoid movies that remain only in short fragments and How The West Was Won is standing for Ford's The Civil segment only.
