I can't believe all these actors are supposed to be the age of people attending 10 year high school reunions. My 10 year high school reunion is in 2 years and I don't know any guys from my year who look nearly as old as channing tatum does. I hope Oscar Isaac shows up at mine though...
hello oscar isaac if you're reading this i am free every single day for the rest of my life please contact me thank u xx
sorry i didn't even pay attention to the movie because as soon as i saw oscar isaac i was playing out my own plot in my head where we were lovers and channing tatum wasn't there
sorry to have the same exact review as everyone else on here but when oscar isaac was serenading kate mara i got goosebumps. when he sang about her yellow shoes? suddenly i knew what love is
imagine rejecting oscar isaac after he serenaded you with a song he wrote about you... you’d have to be clinically insane
i needed more oscar isaac in this movie.
but, you know, we also need more oscar isaac on the big screen. we need more of him on the radio. we need more of him with a guitar. we need more of him on television. we need more of him in classic literature. we need more of him on the top music charts. this is why i’m starting a petition to implement oscar isaac in everything. thank you for listening.
Last year, I think we can all agree Channing Tatum had a great year. Like many, he impressed in outings like 21 Jump Street, Haywire, and Magic Mike. He continues to impress in probably the more overlooked film he did last year, 10 Years.
The plot is simple...just a bunch of former high school buddies getting together 10 years later for a reunion. Thanks to the cast, it's effective. You've got some really great performances from a great ensemble cast that includes Tatum, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Graham (aka Ms. Reckless who pulled a Kanye at the MTV Awards), Justin Long, Oscar Isaacs, Kate Mara, Max Minghella, and Jenna Dewan (Channing's real life wife) but the standouts for me…
sorry to be saying what basically everyone else is saying but, if oscar isaac wrote and sang a song for me i would simply marry him right then and there. yes i do the cooking, yes i do the cleaning.
max minghella and justin long’s characters were in LOVE and no one can convince me otherwise
"The song Oscar Isaac sings was originally supposed to be written by someone else for him to perform, but being a student from Julliard, he told producers he could write a song himself. The song, "Never Had" was Oscar's creation."
Good God, man.
I think I need to take a pregnancy test after witnessing him sing that song. How is Kate Mara even alive after this?
why spend your time looking back when you've got so much to look forward to?
it sure does get better every rewatch. im making this my tradition of watching it every january of every year.
and i am living for reeves and elise, power couple.
oscar isaac and anthony mackie's mever had remix? they need to make that official im streaming the hell out of it.
A refreshing take on the high school dramedy. Linden utilizes all the characters to have significant screen time each with a story that somehow ties together. I like how this is a high school movie but it's told as a reunion. Now, not all the actors are on an even par, and some of the stories aren't as poignant (especially for some of the bigger name actors I thought could have done more), but the whole of the parts justifies the end. You're left feeling just as good as the characters at the end of the movie. Now my sister didn't quite feel the same connection to this movie and I believe it's relative to the timeline of when you got out of school. I'm closer to my 10 year reunion than she is therefore I was comfortable watching it.
Will I rewatch this tonight and just fast forward to the Oscar Isaac / Kate Mara scenes? You bet.
you know, i would've liked this a whole lot better if channing tatum just... wasn't involved. i don't know what it is about him that just really makes me so angry. anyways i had fun watching this and i love it when oscar isaac sings it makes me so happy it evokes such pure joy from within my soul
If this movie had only been the Oscar Isaac storyline I’d have given it 5 stars I love Reeves and Elise.
