Ever seen a movie where the cameraman's hair blows into frame? No? Well, here you go!
What I love about this movie is every scene seems to be seconds away from someone interrupting to say "hey, you can't film here"
"Birdemic 2: The Resurrection" is a 2013 animal attack horror film directed by James Nguyen. I think I'm pretty much on board with everyone in the sense that this is terrible. The original film, "Birdemic: Shock and Terror" (2010) was pretty fun for what it was worth due to the sheer accidental, non-self-aware energy that Nguyen has running with that film. "Birdemic 2" on the other hand is fully self-aware of what it's doing and so the joke is over before it started. That being said, there are a few moments that do sneak in there for whatever its worth that still give you a chuckle, especially that kid who randomly says: "I wish Susan could've been here to see…

“Nice to meet you.”
”Yes.”
“Don’t you know that birds are the descendants of, uh, dinosaurs?”
What a shitshow. Physically hurt to watch. It’s everything terrible about the first yet somehow worse. At times it felt like director James Nguyen was playing into the unintentional comedy that made the first one such a cult classic. Once you get into the realm of purposefully making a bad movie I instantly hate it. No doubt there’s some honest attempts here, but some moments seem like he’s yanking our chain. I could not believe when Alan Bagh sets himself and does a roundhouse kick straight to the camera causing a very badass effect…
Other than seeing The Secret of Arrietty cameo at the start, I got nothing, literally nothing!
Spooky Scary Horrorthons 8 - Film #14
This may be marginally better than the first film, I guess? There are some daring (see: very basic) pov-shots and advanced narrative techniques such as flashback sequences to ogle at here. But we're still operating at such a remarkably low level here, that even noticeable improvements won't help all that much. This is still trash.
I can't believe that I just watched both Birdemic films over the span of two days.. Alone.. And sober! Thanks a lot, Cinemonster 🙄

The worst Part 2 that you haven't seen and can access
So weird how this movie is like: the birds are upset because global warming is killing all the animals... now quick, shoot them!!!
Everyone who doesn't believe in global warming and climate change needs to watch this film. If you don't believe in the real consequences of not caring about the planet after seeing this... I don't know what to tell you.
Film #7 out of 7 of my Bad Movie Sequel Week
"I don't know much about the movie business, but I know how to read and I like your story."
A sequel that ALMOST lives up the ridiculousness of the original!!! I think it kind of trails off towards the end in terms of hilarity. But the first hour is FANTASTIC.
...and by that, I mean utterly awful... but in a frickin' hilarious manner...
The GREAT thing about this sequel are all of the callbacks to the original. Part homages and part winks to the audience, but every single one of them are spot on and decidedly laugh-out-loud funny.
"I wish Susan could've been here to see this bird skeleton,…

A haiku review:
Really? “Sunset Dreams”?
Jumbo Giant Jellyfish
Hitchcock references
So I did watch Birdemic: Shock and Terror a couple years ago just to be in on the joke with the rest of the cult film world. I gave it half a star on here. Without reservation, I can say this sequel is quite a step up from the first. But with that low of a bar, you can literally step over it and be better.
Granted, I did guffaw at the self-referential comments made in the…
