Costume Design focuses on the costumes of the third entry in TLOTR trilogy, The Return of the King is an all too short documentary about the design of the various costumes used throughout the cast of the third part of Peter Jackson's trilogy. It's nothing too elaborate with this short, it's pretty straight forward, and although the costumes for the film are indeed great, compared to other making ofs, Costume Design could have been a bit longer. It feels like glosses over the subject as if it's a throw away. A decent watch, but it doesn't stand out compared to other documentaries dealing with TLOR trilogy.

A somewhat short look into what went into a few of the costumes of The Return of the King. You probably don't even think about it as you watch the movies, but the design choices behind each costume, the way they weave the essence of each character into each thread of those clothes sells you on the realism of Middle-earth. Good costume design is underrated.

Underrated BTS stuff is costume, I wish they showed more of the process instead of just the finished article and the drawing.
