This movie has everything......big fun, christian slater doing a bad jack nicholson impression...a dead gay son.
I tried to write a review, but I can't.
All that's running through my head is "Dear Diary: My teen angst bullshit has a body count."
I really wish I could rewind time and watch this as my high school self.
can't wait till school gets cancelled because i killed myself in a repressed homosexual suicide pact
the lesbian energy that radiates from the moment when veronica says “heather, my love, there’s a new sheriff in town” and kisses her on the cheek is SO powerful that’s how i’m tryna be
jason and veronica: *leave bodies naked and in the woods, make no effort in making the murders look like suicides*
the police: this is a suicide
all i want to do is graduate high school, go to europe, marry christian slater and die
Heathers is a dark comedy that is not shocking or even that funny. The acting is ok but the characters are unbearable and one dimensional there is barely any depth to them. The cinematography was ok but unfortunately the pacing is rushed and takes away from the impact of major events. Overall a bland film.

Dear Diary, my teen angst bullshit has a body count. Christian Slater is hot, but Winona Ryder is hotter. This movie gave me a lot of anxiety....
oh... my whole life I thought "dear diary my teen angst has a body count" was just the emo lyrics from From First To Last
also interesting to see where Mean Girls must have got its inspiration from!
