27. A film featuring bugs (not sure of the definition exactly, so this includes spiders, worms, etc).
A group of explorer scientist find a new kind of spider in the forest of some foreign land. Better than expected, kind of a creature feature except more about Spider Webs than the actual spiders. Still the special effects were impressive.

I hit a shitty run on movies this past week. Lance Henrikson couldn't save this even though he's a pro of schlock. This just has horrid sets, cgi and characters. It's a whole lotta dumb as LED Zepplin could've said.

Back when I was about 7 years old, myself, my brother, and my cousins all watched a video on YouTube of a Trailer of something called the Maneater Series. It was 10 films that all consisted of animals attacking humans in a horror setting. We never watched any of them except for the aptly titled, Grizzly Rage. But we became obsessed with seeing them. Trying to fulfill the Army mission so I stumble across this one on Amazon Prime. It's got Lance Henriksen in it, so how bad could it be. Yeah... not great, or even good. Lance will appear n ANYTHING. God love you, Lance, and I know you love working, but not a good movie. The CGI spiders are way over done. Says its a made-for-TV movie so we don't even get any flesh and blood that would have made it more interesting.

I picked this because I'm a huge Lance Henricksen fan and he did not disappoint in providing the appropriate amount of creep factor. BUT - this movie was Charles Barkley Turrible. We follow of team backpackers on a trek thru India on "vacation"? They camp in the woods - NO TENTS - and some spider shit pops off. I mean who camps in the jungle just open air, like not in a gimp suit for protection? Anyway, adventures happen, people die and the CGI spiders were trash. Lance was good though, so there's that. What if you're bored with the lowest of expectations.

A group of American friends are backpacking through a jungle in India when one of them are bitten by a spider. They rush her to a village where an American doctor (Lance Henriksen) tries to save her but it turns out that the doc might have more devilish plans. Soon the Americans are dying one by one due to what appears to be a spider cult as well as the strange brother of the doctor who just happens to be wearing a bag over his face. Wonder what's wrong with him?
This made-for-TV flick isn't the worst creature feature out there but at the same time it's pretty poor on so many levels. I will at least give the filmmakers…

Attack of the plastic halloween webbing and spiders, and CGI ones of course. But really this is one of my least favorite SyFy channel movies. Missed it a long time ago so I wanted to see what I missed, and really, not much....
