i still remember the specific feeling of being 10 years old and watching this for the first time. i thought “this is the best movie i’ve ever seen in my life” and that’s still true
If you claim to dislike this movie, stop lying to yourself.
Mean Girls is fetch as fuck.
Let me tell you something about Mean Girls. I thought it would be crap. I know, right? It's so embarrassing. I don't even... Whatever. So then about about eight months ago, I saw the ratings for it and so I started the movie with the assumption that it would be totally awful but then I started howling with laughter, and my other movies were like, weirdly jealous of it. Like, if I would skip past them to watch Mean Girls, they'd be like, "Why didn't you watch me?" And I'd be like, "Why are you so obsessed with me?" So then, for my birthday party, which was a marathon of my favourite comedies, I was like, "other movies, I can't…
the plot twist when regina put her own picture in the burn book ugh fight club could never
the slow push out from regina to reveal the shit she's started??? invented cinematography
mean girls: “god! i am so sorry regina. really, i don’t know why i did this. i guess it’s probably because i’ve got a big LESBIAN crush on you! suck on that!”
citizen kane: no lesbian references
you decide what the better film is
Rachel McAdams could’ve done Fight Club but Brad Pitt couldn’t have done Mean Girls
when janis ian says she's lebanese she really means she's a lesbian, i know that cause i used to watch glee
Who doesn't love this classic?
I don't care if it's a guilty pleasure, it's funny and twisted in equal measure. Plus, the moment when the principal takes out the baseball bat is one of the most epic moments in the history of high school comedies.
Also, Mean Girls is so quotable you could have a ten minute conversation just with lines from the film.
Shut up!
No, I'm not kidding. This is something else. Check it out now. One of my favorite comedies in general, Mean Girls is so fetch.
Valentine's Day Rachel McAdams double feature. Lots of funny Tina Fey gags and lines in this one you for sure couldn't do in a movie or TV show today. Tim Meadows, always super underrated, is great in this. Positive message about how queens need to stop tearing each other down to fit in, a meta commentary about how we did just that to Lindsay, and forgot about the good she did and how big her juggs are.
Quick, someone ask me what day it is.
And yes, I have an exam to be submitted in two hours and I’m still not done but I just finished watching Mean Girls… and what about it?
Watched on Netflix.
Recommend me films here.
definitely some stuff about this that hasn't aged well but amanda seyfried deserved an oscar nomination for the way she answered "you're not stupid" with "yes... i am actually"
For my 100th review 😓 just watched this so people wouldn’t scold me for not seeing it yet and let me just say I’m unimpressed

Yes, this movie is genuinely really good fight me.
Snappy montages and quick pacing make this film a breeze to watch. It actually flows really well through engaging sequences and memorable characters. Cheesy dialogue here and there and with a pretty overly heavy-handed ending, it portrays this life and situation as a grounded and enjoyable experience to watch.
eighty (just)
This is probably going to be a generational thing, but I've heard so many references to this movie, it's pretty thoroughly ingrained in pop culture. I also love the comment I read that it's a female version of Lord of the Flies, complete with one character having one lens of her glasses broken.
A quotable, relatable, predictable but loveable film. One of the best early 2000s films there are.
This was fun! It was a cute movie and I liked it a lot. Mean Girls is really a classic though like the way it’s influenced pop culture is crazy
