One detail I noticed this time around is that Min and Mr. Park both react the same way to being asked if they like or love the people that they're romantically involved with– by laughing. And in Mr. Park's case, giving a sarcastic answer that undercuts his saying 'yes'. Min and Mr. Park are both seen as powerful figures deserving of respect, and the way they dismissively respond to an earnest question about whether they truly care for the people they're supposed to tells us a lot about how powerful people think about not just the people below them, but everyone in their lives.
"I just feel comfortable here. It feels like I was born here. Maybe I had my wedding here, too. In my old age, love will comfort me."
Watched with a live orchestra and an introduction by Bong. It was one of my favorite experiences at a theatre, obviously.

How am i suppose to enjoy this film, when i can’t understand what they are saying, and i cant read
“I have loved and admired Bong Joon Ho since MEMORIES OF MURDER and he surprises, delights and moves me, every single time. So, to say this is his best, means a lot to me. It is. A film full of sadness and wit and depth. Irreverent but compassionate. Amazing.”

Finally got around to watching this on Amazon prime.
Really enjoyed it even though it moved a little slowly up to the little twist in the middle
Loved that house too !
I was expecting more thriller but it was still very comedic. Definitely an interesting reflection in the poor’s everlasting ambition for riches and the riches everlasting ignorance of the poor.
Parasite.
I mean I don’t really know what to say except, let me just say you have no idea what to expect. This was such a beautifully made piece of cinema that we were lucky enough to witness. Like I said I can’t say much without spoiling it but I say just watch with an open mind and you’ll get hooked easily. I promise you that.
“So long”
I feel like I may be one of the only people that thought this movie was just alright. I mean I guess I get it. This movie is a look at class and holds a strong bias against capitalism so of course the largely leftist art community will sing its praises while writing reviews from $2000 dollar computers and drinking Starbucks coffee. As someone who was born of an immigrant in a relatively low social class, those sentiments are lost on me due to the fact I was able to make a good life for myself and not blame others for my misfortunes. But all that aside, watching it at face value, it was an entertaining pseudo home invasion type film. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it.
I know that everything positive that could be said about Parasite has been said but I'll give my two cents regardless. Firstly, I'm so glad I got to watch this in a cinema when it originally came out but I wasn't nearly as interested in movies then as I am now, so I figured I needed to give this movie a re-watch to see if my opinion would improve, and the answer is yes, my opinion did improve. Before rewatching this I thought it was a really great movie and felt it deserved it's praise and acclaim but it wasn't anything super special to me personally, now after I re-watched it I absolutely love it, even though there are quite…
