Seeing Taika Waititi's Team Thor shorts, it's interesting how one of the most entertaining, fun characters in the MCU has had some of the weakest and most ignored movies in the line. Watching Thor just do stuff shows how dynamic of a superhero he is, he can be placed anywhere, from Asgard to Australia, and feel like he belongs in the story precisely because he doesn't really belong anywhere. It's the kind of quality Jacques Tati's Mr. Hulot and Charlie Chaplin's The Little Tramp have, their lives are universal since, in a way, the universe as a whole is the only home that can accept them.

Waititi's now trademark charm is still here but it lacks the irreverence that made Part 1 so funny.
hard to believe that what thor was up to during civil war is worse than civil war but it turns out marvel just *that* committed to bludgeoning all our senses of morality.
