"You ain't seen livin' 'til you've seen Tina swing!"
It's been cloudy, cold, and rainy all day today. I really love this weather. But I've been aching for summer to begin, so in pops Horror Of Party Beach to tide me over.
Filmed during the peak of surf and hot rod culture's national popularity, this is full of beach bunnies, gremmies, hodads, twistin', shakin', stompin', Fenders, and bloodthirsty mutant abominations. Every human in the first twenty minutes is beautiful, and this is also the best and most defining chunk of the movie. The rest of the runtime follows a more traditional creature feature structure, but it's all good.
Quite possibly my favorite title ever released to Blu-ray by Severin Films.
