Beautifully shot with a meticulously picturesque set in a pre-apocalyptic world --that looks nothing like France but is undeniably French--, this last journey is a curious (but not entirely original) new spin on our perception of a hero.
The title gives too much away, since the entire story is dedicated to the decision of the protagonist whether or not he will make said journey.
Rewatchable but not remarkable.
