i cant tell if this is a comedic masterpiece or i’ve just been in my house for two months
This is probably the worst Netflix movie. This movie tries to hard to be funny but it was so annoying and boring. The movie is just an unwatchable disaster.
THE AGE THING DOESN'T CONCERN ME. WHAT ARE YOU SIXTY-FIVE?
PROS:
~The confusion that's created with the messages of Spade's character is entertaining to watch and Nick Swardson deliver some funny lines.
~Despite her small screen time, Molly Sims seems to have better chemistry with Spade.
CONS:
~Lauren Lapkus is annoying and intolerable. Sure, the whole point of the film is to be obnoxious but this is unbearable to watch. From the unfunny dating scene in the beginning (what's funny with the knife gag?) to her dancing sequence, you know that something is wrong with this movie. Furthermore, there are other scenes where her facial expressions are weird such as when she makes the Hellstar joke or her irritating yelling…

The Wrong Missy is a comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel, written by Chris Pappas and Kevin Barnett and stars David Spade, Lauren Lapkus, Geoff Pierson and Sarah Chalke. The basic premise of this film is that David Spades character Tim Morris meets the woman of his dreams and invites her to his company's corporate retreat, but realizes he sent the invite to the wrong person. Its a simple premise but its just another bad/mediocre comedy that doesn't work from Tim Spindel. How they ever managed to get Roman Reigns and Vanilla Ice to cameo in this still blows my mind.
David Spade is alright, he plays his character well at times and can sometimes be funny…
“35 years on this planet and not one STD. Mmm, can you say the same?”
I was going to pass on this film, but I wanted to retain my competitive edge after seeing some people review it today. I think it's movies like these that drive film critics into retirement. There is not much to say. The premise gives everything away and the moral of the story is:
CRAZY BITCHES HAVE FEELINGS TOO AND THEY'RE USEFUL.
At least the Hawaiian locations were nice. People driving on the highways made me nostalgic for the times before COVID-19 when people actually had places to go to.
Missy (Lauren Lapkus) has a Rachel Dratch vibe and is way too caricaturized. David Spade was…
this was not very good but i will support lauren lapkus’ career until the day i die
A daily reminder that Happy Madison is a scam of a company that gives these hack jobs essentially a free vacation while putting in almost no effort to any aspect of the film. We see it time after time, I can only pray that eventually someone does something about it.
It's offensive, it's nonsensical and most importantly ROB FUCKING SCHNEIDER is on it. Stay far far away.
The 2 stars are for Rob Schneider punching that shark in the face, and for Rob Schneider punching that shark in the face only.

We have seen worse from Happy Madison Productions. They are fairly consistent with their mediocrity, but I am not one to get all upset with Sandler anymore. I used to to get on his case for using these films as an excuse to go on vacation with his friends, but I have slowly fell off of that boat. After how the Academy treated Uncut Gems, I think this man has the right to do whatever he wants. Even if his performance is incredible, certain hypocrites within that group won’t take him seriously (regardless of his talent). You do you Adam. That being said, he produced this film that won’t turn the…
Lauren Lapkus has a star making performance a la Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids and Tiffany Haddish in Girls Trip.
I had a feeling that I took the wrong recommendation by checking this one out.
"Oh, you're fuckfacing me, aren't you? Cool!"
My wife and I needed a movie to watch on our anniversary, so we took my mother and sister's boyfriend's suggestion of The Wrong Missy. While I found some of the over the top and vulgar humor funny, I thought it was mostly obnoxious, contrived, and way over the top. So I apologized to my wife for putting it on, but she actually really enjoyed it. So after 12 years of marriage, its fair to say that I still can never predict what she will like.

- In the story, David Spade's character Tim goes on…
I honestly don't know how any of the Netflix films under Adam Sandler's banner make money, but boy do the films they make look so fun to be a part of. I love the energy, but that's about it, especially with this one!
The writing is so lazy. I can’t believe we keep letting these people take vacations in Hawaii and film movies while doing! Lauren Lapkus is fun to watch, but that’s the only redeemable part of the movie. Rob Schneider needs to stop getting casted as Brown characters, the writing is lazy as fuck, and we, as in Americans, need to leave Hawaii and the indigenous people there alone
No, just no. Horribly unfunny and too stupid. I wasn’t expecting much, but jeez I got nothing.
actually one of the worst movies i've ever watched but i highly recommend drinking and watching it with your family who unironically laughs hysterically the whole time
this is truly the worst movie I've ever watched I could go on about how much I hate it
she literally rapes him?? multiple times?? and then they fall in love?????
but bc he's a guy, rape is used for comedic purposes
I hate it I hate it I hate it
