Now I understand when christians say they have outer body experiences with god.
Cause when Jennifer Aniston acted the shit out of that stripping scene. My soul escaped from my body and metamorphosed into an inferior being. I've never felt so close to god as I felt in that moment.
"Shut the fuck up Kenny."
The critics were wrong this time; this is absolutely hilarious and also has a surprising amount of heart. Easily one of the years best comedies.
We're the Millers is a good time at the movies. It's as simple as that. Was it great? Not at all. But it was entertaining and funny, which is what it set out to do. Personally I think it succeeded in that department. I had a good time seeing it, and I laughed quite a bit. The casting was spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed all four of the lead roles. Especially Jason Sudeikis. The 4 leads just seemed like they were having a good time, and it rubbed off on the audience. Just looking at the kid Kenny made me laugh. Also Jennifer Aniston is still as hot as can be.
RATING: 6.5/10
Cringe-worthy, uninspired borefest. Does nothing special in its genre, just the usual formulaic bullshit. Avoid at all cost. Unless you have an unhealthy obsession over Emma Roberts -- like me. (then yes it will be worth your time) Consider this a confession, letterboxd.
This movie represents a group of four weirdass people who have nothing in common except for their dark background. I'm a hufflepuff, so.. it means I'll be laughing a lot. But still it's quite entertaining. Well, I had no regrets watching this movie. We're the Millers will always be my safety blanket and it's a must watch!
Plus Emma Roberts outinterested Jennifer Aniston. But both are queens, they aren't comparable. Period!
This film's success is basically due to the comedic talent of Will Poulter. Jason Sudeike's character is unbearable. Jennifer Aniston looks like she is there just to get a paycheck (although she always has a natural charisma) and Emma Roberts can do nothing with a poorly written character. Kathryn Hann, like always, brings a lot of joy! Not enough to redeem the film though.
think this movie was on in the living room every single day for about a week last year and that is NOT an endorsement. This movie fucking sucks. It ushered in the death of the american comedy. Try and think of a memorable comedy besides 21 jump street that came out after were the millers. good fucking luck. and no 22 jump street does not count.
PS Yes I did accidentally review "game night" twice. Did i give it 3 stars one time and 3 and 1/2 another. Yes. does it hover around the 3-3 1/2 range. Yes. Fuck you.
