    Nineteen Eighty-Four

    The good:

    - A visual treat, Deakins’ cinematography truly brings Orwell’s vision to life.
    - John Hurt was the best choice to play Winston.

    The not so good:

    - Dream sequences and monologues from the novel don’t have the same impact.
    - Romance isn’t as engaging/well developed.

Definitely a case for the book is better than the movie. Although director Michael Radford gets a lot right, the screenplay leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you are familiar with the source material.

Who is saying THIS is the worst Marvel movie??? Some genuinely enjoyable characters and action with some nice drama at the center make this a solid blockbuster. Definitely has some issues in relaying so much backstory while also balancing so many new characters and relationships AND being a big Marvel CGI battle but I found all 2 and a half hours to be thoroughly entertaining. This is honestly better than all those lame TV shows and most of phase one!

Lmao Liam Neeson killed like 100 people in Paris and just took a commercial flight home without getting arrested.

Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire

Citizen Kane. The Godfather. The Shawshank Redemption. What do all these movies have in common? They're not as masterful as SCOOBY DOO AND THE LEGEND OF THE VAMPIRE.

Rarely does cinema get so exciting. The way Scooby and Shaggy eat those Scooby snacks like it's no tomorrow. What is in those snacks, I'll never know. Some sort of illegal substance that gets the consumer to submit to any command.

Forget Norman Bates, Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecter, The Joker. The YOWIE…
