One of the most mind-numbing films I have ever seen. Yes, it's allegorical but so was Werckmeister Harmonies. Crazy how that film was 2.5 hours long but infinitely more emotional and immersive. Everything in this movie is drawn out to such an absurd extent that it actually has the opposite effect of other slow films and ruins the immersion since absolutely nothing is happening. And this is coming from a diehard lil Tark fan so slow movies and long takes are my fetish.
1/5 did NOT make my head and soul ring but gotta give it credit for the cinematography, production design, and sound design.
