    Cowboy Bebop

    A couple of things:

    1) Yes, this is a series and therefore its placement on Letterboxd is questioned. BUT... it feels like a movie. It's cinematic in its themes, structure and development, epic in scope and features some of the best storytelling ever assembled.

    2) I have friends that keep trying to get me into more anime. And I keep telling them nah, I don't need to. Why? Because I've seen Cowboy Bebop. It's the best the format has to offer, its the pinnacle achievement in the genre.

    Anything else would be a disappointing step down from this master-fucking-class.
