A meticulous, sometimes tedious, fictional political thriller following a hitman(codename: Jackal)'s plan to assassinate the president of France, Charles de Gaulle, and the manhunt into finding the Jackal before it's too late.
Well, this feels a little too relevant now, doesn't it? On account of this being about a right-wing terrorist group trying to overthrow their government and all. But at least the "patriots" in this managed to hire a sly Fox like Edward (see what I did there?) to…
Possibly the first "feature" to be shot and released post-pandemic, and tbh, I really enjoyed it. While the bare bones plot leaves some to be desired, I feel like watching this is akin to visiting a haunted house, you're not really there for the story, you're there for the scares.
