It's no Huntger Games, but they share some similarities though.
A group on the hunt, a group being hunted, just for sports, but then with the political allegories I could have done without.
It contains some genuine action sequences, like those in the gas station, lots of point blank kills and an exploding head here and there making this a fun treat for the gorehounds.
The best thing though, apart from being short, concise and entertaining, is Gilpin. I knew her by name only, but what she establishes here is Uma Thurman style combining hotness, coolness and acting skills in a one hour performance. Is it the jackrabbit story or the kill bill fighting sequences, she pulls it of as she does it for a living resulting in a compelling and satisfying getting to the endboss movie.
