Ready Player One 2018
Now I took every chance possible to make this experience the best possible one for me. I saw this in theaters, on one out of ten 70mm prints around the world. An enjoyable film, a bit of standard Pixar inspiration. However, I do think that this article:medium.com/@nalnic/disney-stop-turning-your-black-characters-into-animals-704ebc305c3e makes a good point about the deracializing of black characters in animated films. I mean this film spends more time with Tina Fey speaking in a black body than Jamie Foxx.
