  • The 6th Day

    The 6th Day

Come for the ethical discourse on human cloning.

Stay for the Donkey Kong 64 graphics, late 90s take on futuristic interior dec, and that scene where Arnold talks to Arnold.

  • Run

Really creepy and all around fun thriller. Predictable at times but whatever, it’s great.

  • Alpha

The humble beginnings of whosagoodboy? I can only hope this is how it went down.

  • Flight of the Navigator

    Flight of the Navigator

The costumes and set design were great but then you get an alien Paul Reubens and I was instantly won over. The movie just keeps giving and giving.
To top it off, you get to yell “NASA would never do it that way, this is totally inaccurate!!” at the tv.

  • The Postman

    The Postman

    Braveheart but with USPS.
Overshadowed by Waterworld two years later in 1997 but worth watching now because you can taste a post-apocalyptic America the night before the 2020 election.
Woke up at one point in this 4 hour movie and noticed Tom Petty was in a scene, and I was like holy shit that’s Tom Petty!? Right? I googled it later, and I was right. Also Dolph Lundgren was in it but hell if I could find him.
It might’ve actually been 3 hours but still weirdly fun.

  • The Silence of the Lambs

    The Silence of the Lambs

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

“Oh wait... was she a great big fat person?”

    You played yourself Bill.

  • Roald Dahl's The Witches

    Roald Dahl's The Witches

10 year old me would’ve loved how actually creepy this was.

  • House of 1000 Corpses

    House of 1000 Corpses

    Not enough corpses.

  • Guns Akimbo

    Guns Akimbo

Tryin rly hard to be satire about whatever. Video games? Technology? Gratuitous violence?

  • Trolls World Tour

    Trolls World Tour

    Weirdly a visual feast.
It’s a total fever dream of fuzzy trolls, lisa frank vibes stuffed into a Holy Mountain hallucination.
Incredible animation, details and pretty fun.

  • Onward

Loved Pixar’s take on magic fantasy wizard land. There’s just so much personality in the animation.
There was some good good crying. Just glad I was quarantined at home and not next to some crybabies in a theater.

  • Alita: Battle Angel
