If I ever hear Aimee Mann’s Wise Up, I may have to check in on the people around me to make sure they’re okay as they likely self destruct.

A rare sci fi that leaves you with a few more questions than when you started while revealing a bit more in every pass. I watch this bad boy every few months.
Garlands approach to representing an extra-terrestrial entity doesn’t fall on any tropes about aliens we all know. He’s developed his own language here to dive into an unknown and unknowable encounter.

Since the debut of Get Out, i’m really liking the fact that comedy actors make absolutely phenomenal horror movie directors. incredibly tense and worth seeing in theaters.
