Red Rocket was truly amazing, I had quite the unfortunate experience before walking into the festival because I sat down with a friend and then going to the festival I was starting to realize the entire lower part of my backpack was covered in shit and the corner of my shirt and an elite part of my pants were also full with shitstains and so my buddy had to go to the otherside of…

Full disclosure: I'm not a big fan of Gaspar Noe, not because I dislike him but because besides Climax I know nothing about the guy, once I heard his newest film will be at the festival and that the film dealt with an elderly couple dealing with dementia I was on board.

I completely miscalculated how much effect this film will have on me, the technical department, the editing, the original craft of this kind…

So before I bought tickets to this one I talked to my dad and realized he saw Waltz with Bashir and so immediately I thought about inviting my folks to the festival and on the way have some family time, so that's exactly what I did, I sat down to see a movie about Anne Frank with my parents, quite experience hand down.

The film itself was surprisingly good, I was afraid they…

Was pretty hyped for this cause this had vibes of something that's suspenseful, like a stuck in a bad situation type of movie and it is that but it plays with human behavior to subvert the expectations of the audience, that being said tho it is a solid movie and everything technical is pretty good up to the last half which is where I lost interest with the movie, I guess I was expecting more…

Loved it, probably because I haven't seen the original film this one is based of, but I guess I really loved this, Gyllenhaal gave me Source Code vibes all over this film, the sound design is amazing, the way the sound is recorded and edited is possible due to the extreme professionalism of the crew and cast, Antoine Fuqua directed this as well as another film that came out this year: "Infinite" which was pretty bad, so I'm glad to say that Fuqua became from directing one of the worst movies of the year to directing one of it's finest.

The best way I could describe this movie is a mix of The Butterfly Effect, Poltergeist and Back To The Future.

It's a Spanish Sci-Fi/Drama movie that is in parts very interesting, and in parts so confusing that you don't quite sure what you're seeing.

The movie delivered some great scenes especially with the lead actress Adriana Ugarte - she was great, I really connected to her character's motivation, the movie takes it's time to explain the audience why…
