• The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

    The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

One of my favorite horror movie opening scenes. A depressing and morbid radio broadcast that showcases nothing but death and disease scattered around the country.

A clear foreshadowing to the events that later take place in the film.

    It’s a classic for a reason.

  • The Tomorrow War

    The Tomorrow War

    It’s aight

  • Resident Evil

    Resident Evil

    A guilty pleasure.

Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez absolutely carry this movie, but anything zombie related gets a thumbs up from me.

Now it looks like I’m going to have to rewatch this whole series over again.

    300: Rise of an Empire

    Three stars for Eva Green

  • Un Chien Andalou

    Un Chien Andalou

David Lynch watching Un Chien Andalou:

“Write that down! Write that down!”

  • Hard Eight

    Hard Eight

Something about this just really hit for me.

An exceptional debut for PTA with great performances from everyone involved. I mean imagine getting this cast for your first feature film.

A top 3 PTA for me atm.

  • Session 9

    Session 9

A dark and totally eerie creepfest that doesn’t rely on blood or gore to frighten its audience.

    Session 9
took me by surprise and I just wish I would’ve watched this sooner. Abandoned insane asylums may be a common trope in horror, but there’s enough here to warrant a watch. I would definitely go in blind on this one though. Peter Mullan steals the show here but I also enjoyed David Caruso’s and the rest of the cast’s performance.

If you’re into psychological horror then this is one I highly recommend.

  • Manhattan

    She’s from Philadelphia.

  • Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

I may not fully understand what I just watched, but those last 10 minutes were absolutely terrifying. And I don’t think it would be the same without Sheryl Lee’s excellent performance of Laura Palmer.

    Great prequel!

    Three Colors: Blue

Bumped this up half a star for the ending alone.

  • Jacob's Ladder

    Jacob's Ladder

I REALLY liked Tim Robbins in this

  • Eraserhead

Too weird for me, sorry 😬
