The Biggest Little Farm

The Biggest Little Farm ★★½

The Biggest Little Farm is a 90 minute infomercial for every idealistic organic farm booth you’ve encountered at your local farmers market.

Director John Chester and his wife Molly, the stars of the film, are very nice people but they are almost too upbeat or cool under pressure in every situation they face. Occasionally blessed with visuals of farm animals, The Biggest Little Farm suffocates viewers with extreme positivity in the face of a never ending string of challenges: gophers, coyotes, bugs, stubborn pigs!

I almost wished the massive wildfire burned down their farm in the end to see if they’d show an emotion beyond mild annoyance for once.
