this was interesting in both a good and a bad way. visually the movie is excellent (would give it a 5/5 if i was just judging off visuals), it’s literally eye candy in every scene so credit to director and cinematographer on that part. but the script, acting and some action scenes are truly terrible it was crazy to me. i feel that carla gugino is the only one that truly had a good performance as angela bassett and michelle…

    Space Jam: A New Legacy

a modern version of the original movie. i did prefer the original movie but this one was still fun and had funny moments. it can be a little exhausting especially the actual basketball game itself which kinda made no sense. best characters of the movie were of course the tune squad (zendaya was a great lola) and my favorite part of the entire movie was when they were recruiting the team.

    Wonder Woman 1984

Although very different from the first film, Wonder Woman 1984 is not just a superhero movie but an ambitious drama one too! Patty Jenkins focuses more on character development, relationships, and an incredible message about truth rather than action. I did think the action improved from the first film as well proving that Jenkins can direct incredible fight scenes. The main four actors Gadot, Pine, Wiig, and Pascal were all so incredible as well. Even though she might not return to direct the third film, I think the film pays off and I think Jenkins did a wonderful job!

    Knives Out

With great performances from everyone in the cast especially Ana De Armas and Chris Evans, Knives Out was a masterpiece! Rian Johnson’s directing and script was fantastic he really knew what to do with this type of story and how to utilize it. All of the roles were delightful and very well acted but my personal faves were of course Armas (who literally LEADS this) Evans (he shocked me in some scenes) and Toni Collette because she’s just so enjoyable. I’m hoping more of these actors and Johnson get more work after this because they deserve it!
