Denis Villeneuve's latest effort is a film of all atmospheres that proceeds with a slow but solemn narration. Perhaps it takes a passionate eye to better understand and appreciate the director's choices.
A colossal work, with a dense script and a stellar cast (not me being thirsty about Timothée)

Since I was little I have always dreamed about a Disney pixar film set in my country, Italy, and now I’m finally satisfied! The songs, the landscapes, the food and, of course, the Vespa made me feel at home in this cute animated film that I highly recommend

The animation is something special, as much as the themes and also the atmosphere of nostalgia of the the 50s and 60s.

    The Woman in the Window

We can define this film as the classic textbook thriller, which, however, fails to exploit its premises to achieve something more intriguing. A wasted cast, but with excellent performances, even if it does not raise the overall value of the film.

Possiamo definire questo film il classico thriller da manuale, che non riesce però a sfruttare le sue premesse per ottenere qualcosa di più intrigante. Un cast sprecato, ma con ottime interpretazioni, anche se non eleva il valore complessivo del film.

The shots of this film are real paintings, accompanied by the soundtrack by Jonny Greenwood that crowns this masterpiece that only Paul Thomas Anderson could shoot. Two extraordinary actors for a toxic love story that has become one of the best films of the last decade.

So are you telling me this isn’t directed by Wes Anderson?

A film of incredible sweetness, with pastel tones that warms the heart of anyone who sees it, not just children. A film that for those who are adults brings to mind the childhood and the light-heartedness of when you are little, all immersed in a gloomy but magical London.
An impeccable photography and set design, as well as some directorial choices that are very reminiscent of Wes Anderson's style:…

The nose and the mouth of the new Captain America with the helmet look like those of Carl Fredricksen, the old man of Up.

    The Father

A sober drama that highlights a painful everyday life, equally intriguing because the viewer has to put together the pieces of the puzzle that make up the film. This  identifies us with the protagonist's mind and how difficult it is to lose one's memory and thus one's identity; in my opinion the film is fully successful, with an extraordinary Anthony Hopkins to say the least.

Un dramma sobrio che mette in risalto una quotidianità dolorosa, allo stesso modo intrigante perchè lo…

    Sound of Metal

Sound of metal was a revelation. Riz Ahmed gave us a performance that we will not forget and that I think has consecrated him. The film allows you to completely identify with the protagonist, thanks to a subjective sound that allows the viewer to make his listening point coincide with the protagonist. A not insignificant work on sound that allows us to live a very powerful experience.

Sound of metal è stato una rivelazione. Riz Ahmed ci ha regalato una…

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

    Wow I didn’t expect this.
I actually enjoyed it as much as I hated the first one. Damn, this version is really good.
The plot isn’t the plot of my life, I actually think there could be better story than this one, but in this version, 2 more hours than Justice league, there are a lot of details, in-depth characters, new graphic and soundtrack that make the story better than the Justice league 2017.
I would have appreciated it even…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    This movie is like:
“my heart is broken because my gf broke up with me, so i joined the army”

The elements that I really enjoy are the interpretations of Tom Holland and Ciara Bravo. They are very good, I think it’s the best performance by Tom, but the movie didn’t convince me at 100%, some things could have been done better, the screenplay wasn’t good enough. But at the same time the movie entertained me, so it wasn’t a lost of time.
I have contrasting emotions about this movie.
